Children complete applied
technology and science
"mission based" adventures
that are customized to their
skill level. Activities
occur both on and off the
computer - inside and
outside the class room -
with a focus on creative
engineering and robotics,
graphic design, digital
music production, digital
video production,
educational video game
learning, animation, nature
and environmental science &
technology, ocean, earth &
space missions, and MORE!
We take a Montessori style
approach to teaching.
We know that every student
has different abilities and
challenges, and we also
appreciate the fact
children's interests may
drift within a class
session. Children have
the option to do various
activities within a class
session. We do not
follow a "traditional" hard
and strict style of
teaching, but rather a
softer, gentler and more
encouraging approach and
treat every child as a
unique individual.
On the first class of a
program session, children
select the projects that
they will complete during
their session from multiple
theme-based adventures. Our
highly trained adventure
guides help children to
select programs that suit
their age, area of interest
and skill level to maximize
the fun and the thrill of
success.
This approach allows for
individualized learning that
meets the interests and
needs of virtually every
student.
Students employ a variety of
technologies to complete
adventure-based projects.
Computer skills,
storyboarding and creative
problem solving are just
some of the skills that will
be developed and improved
during their program session
experience.
Several adventures are
offered at every class, so
there's no need to select an
adventure before attending!
Some adventures are
appropriate only for older
children due to their
technical nature, but there
is something for everyone!
Any digital work that the
children creates can be
saved to their very own
personal USB memory storage
key - which is taken home as
a record of what they have
done! This USB key is FREE
with the program session. |
